Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a booking. By making a payment, sending a deposit, or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all of the terms below.

Welcome to GudauriParagliding.com (“Website”). By using this Website, sending a request, paying a deposit, or making a full payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as the rules related to booking, cancellations, rescheduling, and participation in paragliding activities.

Who We Are

Gudauri Paragliding is a website focused exclusively on booking and organizing paragliding experiences in Gudauri, Georgia. The Website follows the same operational logic, safety standards, and booking rules as SkyAtlantida, but it is dedicated only to paragliding.

The service is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Serhii Mykhailiuta (Georgia). Registration number: 304744347.

Important clarification: Gudauri Paragliding provides booking and organization services for paragliding experiences in Georgia. We connect our clients with independent, professional pilots. All flights are operated by licensed third-party pilots. By making a payment, you confirm that you are purchasing a booking and coordination service, not a flight operated directly by us.

Acceptance of Terms

By using this Website, sending us messages, submitting a request, making a booking, or completing a payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Website and do not make a booking.

We reserve the right to update, revise, or modify these terms without individual prior notice. The current version will always be published on this page.

Booking and Confirmation

Booking Process

Paragliding bookings may be arranged through the Website, messengers, social media, or by direct communication with our support team. A slot is considered only temporarily available until it is actually confirmed by deposit payment.

A deposit is required to reserve a specific time slot, flight window, pilot allocation, and coordination resources. Without a deposit, the selected slot may be given to another client.

Once the deposit or full payment is received, your booking is confirmed. Confirmation may be sent through WhatsApp, Telegram, email, or another agreed method of communication.

Deposit

  • A deposit is required to secure a slot
  • The deposit is included in the total booking price
  • The remaining balance is paid on-site before the flight unless agreed otherwise
  • The deposit is an organizational payment for reservation and coordination

Payment Methods

We accept payments only through approved and secure payment methods. Available payment options may vary depending on the client’s country, currency, timing, and technical availability.

All bank fees, payment processing fees, intermediary charges, and money transfer fees are paid by the client unless explicitly confirmed otherwise in advance.

We are not obligated to confirm a booking until the agreed deposit or full payment has actually been received.

Weather Conditions and Flight Performance

Paragliding flights depend on weather conditions. Wind, wind direction, gusts, visibility, cloud cover, thermal activity, precipitation, and other atmospheric factors may affect takeoff, flight duration, route, and overall flight execution.

  • delays are a normal part of operations
  • same-day rescheduling is a normal part of operations
  • route adjustments on-site are a normal part of operations
  • the senior instructor makes the final decision on whether a flight can proceed

If weather conditions are considered unsafe, the flight may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled. Weather decisions are final and made strictly for safety reasons.

Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Deposit

The deposit is non-refundable because it covers organizational costs, time reservation, pilot allocation, and booking coordination.

When a Refund May Apply

The senior instructor decides whether a flight can take place. If the flight cannot happen because of unsafe weather, we first offer a free reschedule to a date and time that suit both you and us. If the reschedule does not suit either side, we refund the deposit less the bank transfer fee and any services already rendered. The refund is issued by the same method you used to pay; processing takes 5–10 business days.

When a Refund Does Not Apply

  • client cancellation
  • change of personal plans
  • failure to arrive at the meeting point
  • significant client delay
  • refusal to fly on-site when conditions are safe for operation
  • incorrect information provided by the client that affects flight feasibility

In case of late arrival, we do not guarantee preservation of the original slot. A flight may be rescheduled only if there is technical availability, a suitable weather window, and pilot availability.

Flight Conditions

  • the exact flight route is determined on-site
  • actual flight duration depends on weather and the real flight window
  • the specific pilot is assigned based on availability and daily conditions
  • takeoff, landing, logistics, and preparation may change for operational reasons

Photo, video, GoPro, drone, Insta360, and other add-on materials may be provided depending on the package booked, daily conditions, equipment availability, and the safe practical ability to use such equipment.

If an add-on cannot be delivered for technical, weather-related, or operational reasons, we will offer a reasonable solution based on the specific situation.

Weight Policy

For safety and proper pilot matching, the client must provide an approximate weight in advance. Incorrect weight information may affect flight feasibility and booking conditions.

  • 80-100 kg – extra charge
  • 100-110 kg – higher surcharge
  • 110+ kg – individual approval required in advance

Safety and Client Responsibilities

Safety Briefing

Before the flight, every client receives a mandatory safety briefing. The client agrees to listen carefully and follow the pilot’s instructions at every stage: preparation, takeoff run, launch, flight, and landing.

Client Condition

The client confirms that they are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance, and that they do not have conditions that could make participation unsafe. In doubtful situations, the pilot or coordinator may refuse the flight without refund of the organizational deposit.

Personal Responsibility

The client voluntarily takes part in the activity, understands its nature, and acknowledges the objective risks associated with paragliding, mountain terrain, changing weather, and aerial activity in general.

Limitation of Liability

Gudauri Paragliding acts as a booking and coordination service. We are not the direct operator of the flights. All flights are carried out by licensed independent third-party pilots.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for delays, route changes, rescheduling, weather-related cancellations, actions of independent pilots, infrastructure limitations, technical factors, cable car restrictions, road conditions, limited access to launch sites, or other circumstances beyond our direct control.

We are also not responsible for personal belongings left unattended by the client unless otherwise explicitly confirmed in writing.

Website Use

All materials published on this Website, including text, photos, videos, graphics, page structure, and branding elements, are protected under applicable law. Copying, modifying, distributing, or commercially using any materials without written permission is prohibited.

  • attempting to disrupt the Website or its infrastructure is prohibited
  • publishing false or misleading information on behalf of the service is prohibited

Personal Data and Communication

In order to process a booking, we may request your name, contact number, messenger details, approximate weight, preferred date, preferred time, number of participants, and other information necessary to coordinate the service.

By providing such information, you agree that it may be used for inquiry processing, booking coordination, operational communication, service confirmation, and post-booking support.

Gift certificates — terms of sale and use

A gift certificate is sold with full payment only: the manager sends the invoice in WhatsApp, and after payment the certificate arrives by e-mail.

  • The certificate is valid for 1 year from the purchase date; the expiry date is printed on the certificate. An expired certificate can be extended for 1 more year for 50% of its value.
  • The certificate is personal and non-transferable. The certificate itself is not tied to a date: the date and time become binding when the booking is confirmed.
  • The first booking with the certificate is free. Each subsequent rescheduling — 150 GEL / 50 EUR.
  • Being more than 15 minutes late may lead to cancellation of the confirmed slot — a paid rebooking will be required.
  • If the flight cannot happen due to unsafe weather (decision of the senior instructor) — rescheduling is free.
  • Certificates are non-refundable.
  • If the chosen activity costs more than the certificate value, the difference is paid in cash at Café Bar PILOT. If it costs less, the remainder can be used for video/photo, transfer or other services; it is not redeemable for cash.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any disputes arising in connection with the Website, booking, payment, or participation in the activity shall be resolved under the applicable laws of Georgia.
