Paragliding training in Gudauri
We introduce people to the sky and help them become its worshippers. If you love paragliding, take pilot training and you can fly yourself. In addition to familiarization and training flights, overflights can be organized under favorable weather conditions. In this case, the pilot and passengers start from one point and find themselves at a considerable distance from it, where a support car awaits them.
Paragliding allows you to look at mountain landscapes and see the world as birds see it. Skillfully using air currents, the weight of your own body will open the world to you from a different angle.

If you are afraid of heights, but really want to try yourself in the role of a soaring bird — take the shortest program: 7–10 minutes in summer or 5–7 minutes in winter. The start takes place not far from the Gudauri resort or the picturesque Jvari pass (2100 — 2400 meters). The flight itself is made over the Aragvi canyon and, in the area of the take-off site, the length of the route is no more than 4 km. The flight altitude depends on the weather, as well as the landing site (Gudauri resort, Jvari pass or Aragvi canyon — 1750 — 2300 m).

Feel like a free bird by reaching the high level of XC paragliding adventure, cross-country flight, and touch the clouds. Our experienced pilots, led by Anatolii Mykhailiuta, will give you an individual paragliding experience above Cross Pass, the Gudauri resort and the Aragvi river canyon. You will see the peaks of the Bidara, Kudebi, Chrdili and Deda Ena, if we are lucky with the weather, we will do paragliding nearby Mepiskalo mountain range, and the Khado gorge, see the waterfalls and the Hadistskhali river. The length of this paragliding air adventure is more than 12 kilometers (depending on the weather)

Stages of learning.
Stage 1. Preparatory. As part of the first stage, acquaintance with the theoretical part of the question takes place. The methodologist introduces students to lectures in several areas: paragliding safety; paraglider design; aerodynamics; meteorology.
Stage 2. Ground preparation. This includes unpowered free wing ground training. Unpowered ground training covers wing familiarisation, launch technique and ground handling - inflating, holding and steering the wing overhead.
Stage 3. Flights with an instructor on a paraglider. Training flights are conducted on equipment certified by instructors, and we always use modern and reliable equipment for training. We fly our trainees using factory-made equipment made exclusively from titanium, which guarantees the efficiency and safety of flights. We have been training for over 15 years and we are confident that our system is the most effective
Stage 4. Solo flight. At this stage, you are already flying alone. You will complete dozens of takeoffs and landings to develop your hand skills and muscle memory. As a result, by the time your brain has time to figure out what to do and what to pull into the air, your hands have already done everything.
Stage 5. Practical. As part of this stage, the exercises studied during the course are worked out.
Stage 6. Exam. At this stage, you will not be provided with any assistance in completing the tasks. It is through this stage that we can identify potential pilots and those who are not at all able to cope with such a case.
Is it hard to learn to fly?
Paragliding is no more difficult than driving a car or riding a bike. All people are different, those who absorb the material very quickly can fly on their own in 3-4 days, some people have a little more difficulty, they need more time to absorb the information, and it does not take more than 2 weeks. The most important thing is perseverance and desire, we will teach you to fly. There is no person who is not able to learn paragliding - there is a person who does not want to do it.
In addition, no special skills are required. You don't have to be physically fit, because paragliding is not physical labor.
Many pilots come to us to learn how to fly after they turn fifty.
This is the age when the children have grown up, the grandchildren are on the way, the time has been freed up to live for oneself and start fishing, hunting, hiking and gardening.
Flying is the dream of a lifetime. And thanks to paragliders, this becomes a reality. Paragliding is the safest and cheapest way to take to the skies.
So don't worry about your age, we have the oldest pilot in the club who is over 70 years old.
