However, the fact that you are a beginner cannot deprive you of the opportunity to enjoy the mountain peaks and views of the beautiful Gudauri. In some areas of Gudauri, scammers are quite common - pilots without licenses and certificates, who "catch" their victims for incredibly large discounts and cheap paragliding tickets in Gudauri. Of course, we and our highly qualified specialists do not recommend that you use the services of such people. Don't forget your right to check your instructor pilot's license. Unfortunately, in the modern world, paragliding has become a source of profit for most scammers. You can be offered their services by seemingly highly qualified specialists who, in fact, have no idea what paragliding is and how it works.

In no case do not make a payment until you get your ticket and insurance in your hands! In addition, according to the law, both parties to the transaction are responsible for the fine and insurance. Your safety is in your hands, and it depends only on you, on your preferences and your choice of pilot-instructor.

A flight program suitable even for beginners

General flight. This program lays its route from the breathtaking Jvari pass to the Aragvi canyon. You can admire the picturesque beauty of the pass for as long as 30 minutes. The height of the launch pad is 2150-2700 m. The total distance that you will overcome, "soaring in the clouds", is approximately 6 km. If luck is on your side and the weather is good, you will be able to make your childhood dream come true, you will be able to touch the sky with your hands, touch the clouds. If the weather is cloudy, this is not a reason to despair, you can see jagged rocks and a picturesque mountain waterfall up close.

Canyon Aragvi. Fly over the canyon is one of the most requested programs. This is a kind of adventure over the Aragui River. The flight takes approximately 15 minutes in total. During it, you can enjoy amazing views of the rocks and mountain waterfall. The journey starts from Gudauri at an altitude of 2000 m above sea level. The distance of the entire route is 5 km. The return journey along the mountain roads takes about an hour. However, the instructor can also finish the flight in Gudauri.

Route flight. This is an extended flight program. It is designed for those who want to experience complete freedom in the air and get the most out of it. The program includes a scenic flight over the Cross Pass, the Gudauri resort and the Aragui canyon. The flight usually takes no more than 50 minutes. During this time, you will fly approximately 12 km. The height of the take-off point is approximately 2150-2700 m, not far from the Gudauri resort and the Jvari pass. The mountain peaks of the Caucasus Mountains will amaze you with their grandeur and impregnable beauty of the Mepiskal massif and the Jado gorge. The landing place at the Jvari pass or in the Aragvi canyon depends on the weather conditions.

Acrobatics (aerobatics). This program is designed for experienced aeronauts and thrill-seekers. You will not only enjoy the beauty of the Caucasus Mountains, but also get a huge dose of energy and adrenaline. The flight lasts 20-30 minutes. The starting point is located near the Gudauri ski resort or the Jvari pass. The pilot reaches the highest possible altitude at which the weather allows him to demonstrate his skills. The distance traveled should not exceed 4 km. Landing in Gudauri, on the Jvari pass or in the Aragvi canyon, depending on the current weather conditions.

Short flight. If you're afraid of heights but still want to try flying, try this short program. It takes no more than 20 minutes. The starting point is located near the Gudauri resort or the Jvari pass at an altitude of more than 2000 m. The flight will take place over the picturesque Aragvi canyon and the Gudauri ski resort. The length of the flight route is only 4 km. The choice of the final point of the air route depends on the vagaries of the weather. This may be the Gudauri resort, the Jvari pass or the Aragvi canyon.
